Job summary

Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. in Deer Park, WA is seeking a Project Manager Intern to support field and project coordination on heavy civil construction. You will assist with work plans, schedules, and documentation from proposal through execution, under experienced mentors.

The role targets 3rd or 4th year students pursuing a Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, with interest in heavy civil projects and a strong eye for detail. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in heavy civil construction and project coordination.
• Attention to detail and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Compose and implement project specific work plans.
• Prepare submittals, bid packages, contracts, invoices and change orders.
• Communicate deviations from bid to clients and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor work for compliance and approve changes.
• Establish and track budgets and schedules.
• Assist with billings and project coordination with foreman.
• Support quality control and site meetings.
