Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks a Hydro Blaster/Field Technician for on-site work in Davenport, IA. This role involves safe execution of hydro-blasting tasks across services lines, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction. Transitioning military personnel are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include operating hydro-blasting equipment, maintaining gear, and coordinating with customers and supervisors to meet job scope and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• See, read, distinguish, & understand signs in the work area.
• Hear & distinguish emergency signals while on duty.
• Must be able to extend arms above head and tolerate being wet for long periods.
• Climb ladders and work from scaffolding up to 200 ft high.
• Able to wear PPE including respirators and Nomex coveralls.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for company and customer policies and procedures.
• Hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operate ultra-high-pressure pumps and other specialized equipment.
• Inspect surfaces for conformance to specs and perform routine maintenance.
• Interface with customers to ensure requirements are met and report results.
