Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Inc seeks a Maintenance Technician to help operate, monitor and maintain hydroelectric generation stations in Winslow, ME. You will perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot turbine/generator systems, and support safe, efficient plant operation.

You will work with a field team to diagnose issues, record data, and implement repairs while following HSSE policies. Overtime and travel may be required as needed to meet project needs.

Qualifications

Troubleshooting skills and experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight.
Experience with electrical/mechanical maintenance in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair turbines and associated equipment at hydro facilities.
Perform gate changes as instructed, and record and report gate changes once completed.
Safely operate stations and dam facilities; start and stop units as required.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Identify and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems; analyze problems.
Monitor equipment quality and report issues per factory requirements.
