Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum: 18 years old, High School diploma or GED, valid CA Driver's License.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather and travel between sites.
  • Two+ years journeyman relay/control experience; certified journeyman electrician.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test and maintain protective relay equipment and related wiring.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Calibrate electro-mechanical and microprocessor relays (distance, overcurrent, voltage, etc.).
  • Test current and instrument transformers and transducers.
  • Move and lift tools/equipment up to 100 pounds on varied terrain and stairs.
  • Operate safely, drive company vehicle, and comply with safety standards.
