Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in hydroelectric generation or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in project procurement, project execution, and supplier management.
• Ability to manage supplier performance, schedules, and risks.
• Experience working with cross-functional project teams and procurement interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage hydro refurbishment and manufacturing work packages from sourcing through final delivery.
• Develop sourcing and execution strategies for complex equipment, services, and project scopes.
• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and change management.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage expediting activities, and implement recovery plans for project execution.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, technical, quality, and schedule risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, supplier quality, logistics, and field service teams to support project execution.
• Review technical requirements, supplier proposals, manufacturing plans, and project schedules.
• Serve as the primary procurement interface for assigned projects and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
