Job summary

Southern Company is seeking a Project/Construction Manager – Level 7 to lead TSS projects at GPC Hydro plants across the Chattahoochee and North Georgia river systems. You’ll manage scope, budgets, schedules, and contractor activities while guiding a team across multiple sites. Travel is approximately 25% within Georgia.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Engineering or related field and PM experience in engineering, procurement, construction, and startup, with hydro project exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred.
• PM experience in engineering, procurement, construction, and startup.
• Construction management experience on hydro projects preferred.
• Experience coordinating outside contractor resources.
• Leadership role directing direct reports or a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for site construction activities and contract management at all project sites.
• Oversee scope, budget, implementation plan, and schedule for each site to meet project goals.
• Lead a team of professionals across multiple sites for successful project completion.
• Manage cost, contractor relations, and project controls throughout the lifecycle.
• Report to GPC Hydro Project Manager as Project/Construction Manager – Level 7.
