Job summary

A global leader in hydro solutions seeks a Mechanical Engineer for their hydro mechanical engineering group in Charlotte, NC. The role involves analyzing mechanical components, documentation, and engineering design throughout the project life cycle. Candidates should have at least 3 years of engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Siemens NX and excellent problem-solving skills. The position also requires 10-15% travel domestically and internationally, alongside benefits such as health insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering experience required.
• Manufacturing experience (welding, machining and/or casting) is a plus.
• Knowledge of contracts requiring detail attention.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical components using in‑house tools or developing calculations.
• Create and review mechanical drawings for contractual requirements.
• Lead design reviews with technical subject matter experts.

Skills

AD proficiency (Siemens NX preferred)
