Job summary

Voith Hydro in York, PA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II (BOPm) to develop mechanical systems from inception to installation. You will work under supervision, select components, and support manufacturing strategies for hydro power plants.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering with 3–5 years in hydraulic/air systems design, strong teamwork, and solid communication skills. CAD/CAE and SAP experience are expected. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in hydraulic and/or air systems design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/update designs for customer projects (OTC).
• Provide technical project leadership from contract award through project completion.
• Define sourcing and manufacturing strategies starting with the OTO plan.
• Operate CAD/CAE equipment to complete work assignments.
• Create 3D solid models of components and assemblies and 2D drawings.
• Review and release engineering documents and BoMs with engineers.
