Job summary

Voith Group in York, PA, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead regional automation and balance-of-plant engineering. This senior role manages multidiscipline teams to deliver safe, reliable hydroelectric components and systems, guiding projects from design through commissioning and customer delivery.

The incumbent will mentor engineers, drive RCA and lessons learned, ensure adherence to standards, and coordinate globally for optimized, high-efficiency hydro solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in Automation and/or Balance of Plant engineering environment, specifically energy/hydro power generation with a proven track record of successful project execution.
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience as an engineering lead, supervisor, or manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams and disciplines, including Automation, BoPe, and BoPm.
• Develop engineering detailed plans, schedules and hours estimates in Offer to Order (OTO) to be implemented in the Order to Cash (OTC) phase.
• Assists in maintaining an engineering organization capable of fulfilling the following responsibilities: Safe and reliable engineering deliverables related to automation and balance of plant functions.
• Provides deliverables and support for the commissioning and operation of hydro projects (e.g., Procedures, Manuals, Field Testing, etc.).
• Assures that departmental and integrated engineering standards are strictly followed and executed with excellence.
• Coordinate an engineering team to perform engineering optimizations with an integrated approach to provide innovative designs on modernization or new projects.
