Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading large teams.
• Experience leading implementation of complex initiatives.
• Demonstrated understanding of utility operations and customer interaction.
• Direct experience in business case development and benefits capture.
• Demonstrated experience in the execution of strategic objectives.
• Proven track record of achieving results in high pressure and high‑profile assignments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams both external and internal during the early project development phase to better define project scope through conceptual engineering to final designs.
• Develop project initiation documents such as the Project Charter and Project Management Plan.
• Oversee the preparation, approval, and updates of Quality Management System documentation, securing Steering Committee approval where required.
• Direct a multidisciplinary project team, through all phases – from initiation to closeout – ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Maintain and update project schedule as required.
• Monitor and manage project finances, including budgeting, monthly forecasting, cost control, and procurement activities such as purchase order creation to maintain each project’s financial integrity.
• Take projects through the complete bid process with multiple external vendors.
• Develop and execute contracts with multiple vendors while fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with permitting teams to develop detailed permitting plans throughout the life of a project.
• Promote and maintain a safety‑first mindset throughout all project phases, prioritizing the well‑being of team members and stakeholders.
