Qualifications

  • Experience in laboratory test design, setup, data collection, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of open-channel hydraulics and sediment transport.

Responsibilities

  • Apply hydraulics and civil engineering expertise to defined project goals.
  • Design physical test matrices and conduct scour/open-channel experiments.
  • Prepare test environments with CAD models and set up flow conditions.
  • Collect and analyze data using advanced sensors and instrumentation.
  • Develop methods and tools; publish FHWA reports and papers.
  • Manage research projects from requirements through documentation.
