Henderson Products Inc. is hiring an Installation Technician in Bucyrus, OH to join the hydraulics team. You will install, service and troubleshoot hydraulic systems for heavy‑duty trucks, reading schematics and blueprints and performing shop math to ensure precise installations.

You will work in a team environment with good hand dexterity and knowledge of hand tools, and experience in manufacturing or welding/assembly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and the ability to interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Experience in manufacturing settings; familiarity with weld and assembly processes.
• Technical degree or certifications in welding/electrical/hydraulics are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components for heavy‑duty trucks.
• Read schematics, diagrams and blueprints; perform shop math to ensure accurate installations.
• Assist with wiring and electrical tasks as needed; work collaboratively with teammates.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department, you will play a crucial role in the hydraulics bay. Your responsibilities will include installing, servicing, inspecting, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components, all contributing to the completion of heavy-duty work truck builds.

The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred):

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
