Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department in Bucyrus, OH (moving to Galion, OH). You will install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems for heavy-duty work trucks, reading schematics and diagrams to ensure precise builds.

The role emphasizes team collaboration, shop math, and safety. Related welding/electrical/ hydraulics certifications are helpful but not required, with ample training and growth opportunities offered.

• Basic shop math and ability to read diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Join Henderson Products Inc., located at 2177 St. Rt. 19, Bucyrus, OH! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and “Keeping America’s Roads Safe!”

Day Shift Hours! Monday – Friday: 5:30AM to 4:00PM

• Location is moving to Galion, OH in early 2027***

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our hydraulics department, you will play a crucial role in the hydraulics bay. Your responsibilities will include installing, servicing, inspecting, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components, all contributing to the completion of heavy-duty work truck builds.

The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
