Job summary

Ramboll, a global engineering and design firm, is seeking a Regional Practice Manager for Hydraulics and Hydrology in the Americas. Based in the United States, you will lead a team delivering climate adaptation, water resources, and flood resiliency projects, leveraging Blue-Green infrastructure and Nature-Based Solutions.

You will build client relationships, guide project execution, and drive growth across multiple offices and markets.

Qualifications

Professional Engineer certification/registration.
B.S. Degree or higher in Water Resources, Civil, or equivalent engineering field.
15+ years in consulting experience.
Expert knowledge of hydraulics and hydrology; review open channel, surface flow, and conduit models (Infoworks ICM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
Experience with local, state and federal stormwater and floodplain permitting.

Responsibilities

Provide technical, project delivery, and financial oversight to project teams.
Provide hydraulic leadership and vision for staff within the hydraulics practice.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and repeat business from clients.
Coach team members to develop project performance and technical skills.
Develop project scope, schedule, and budget and assemble resources with technical proficiency.
Lead or pursue business development within service lines and key accounts.
Engage in client development and cross-market collaboration.
Direct development and QA of medium to large hydraulic studies focusing on drainage basins, watersheds, and stormwater systems.
