Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
• Coursework or interest in hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater management, or water resources engineering.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation projects under supervision.
• Support stormwater reports, drainage studies, and technical memoranda.
• Assist with storm drain, culvert, erosion and sediment control design tasks.
• Use HEC-RAS, StormCAD, or similar tools for assigned tasks.
• Prepare drawings with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD.
• Format reports, calculations and specifications for project documentation.
• Help manage project files and permitting processes where needed.
• Gain exposure to STV’s organizational structure through diverse assignments.
