Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Stormwater Hydraulics EIT/Designer to join HDR's Transportation Hydraulics team in North Carolina.

You will engage in stormwater drainage design for highways, rail, and transit projects, performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and preparing construction drawings. Required is a bachelor's degree in engineering and EIT eligibility within 12 months, with proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months; career progression tied to EIT.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work under multiple project engineers on transportation and water resource projects.
• Prepare civil design drawings with BIM/CADD platforms for construction documents.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations and calculations.
• Prepare drainage maps and stormwater facility design calculations.
• Assist with construction phase implementation and cost estimates.
