Qualifications

• Formal Education High School diploma or GED
• Experience 5-6 years
• Required / Credentials: Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble and assemble hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic pumps & motors, and hydraulic valves to manufacturer’s specifications by following published procedures.
• Perform designated repairs and rebuilds on customer or company owned components including undercarriage engines, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, final drives and differentials.
• Maintain tools, materials and shop area; document repairs and times using appropriate software; monitor costs and alert supervisor of overruns.
• Mentor teammates and support training to improve technical skills and competencies; ensure safety and quality expectations are met.
• Adhere to safety, environmental and contamination control policies and participate in continuous improvement of work practices.
