Job summary

EnerMech in Houston is seeking a Hydraulic Technician, Tube Instrument Fitter to fabricate, install, inspect, test, and maintain stainless steel hydraulic and instrumentation tubing systems from 1/4" to 2" in diameter.

You will read P&IDs and drawings, perform coning and threading, install fittings and supports, conduct pressure tests, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Travel to customer facilities and offshore/onshore sites as required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years hydraulic tubing installation or related industrial experience.
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings.
Experience with 316 stainless steel tubing 1/4" to 2".
Coning and threading MP/HP stainless steel tubing.

Responsibilities

Install, bend, route, and secure stainless steel tubing from 1/4" through 2" OD.
Fabricate tubing assemblies using manual and hydraulic tube benders.
Measure, cut, deburr, clean, and prepare tubing for installation.
Cone and thread MP and HP stainless steel tubing.
Install fittings, valves, manifolds, clamps, and supports.
Read hydraulic schematics, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
Perform pressure testing and leak testing of hydraulic systems.
Travel to customer facilities and job sites as required.
