Job summary

EnerMech is hiring a Hydraulic Technician, Tube Instrument Fitter in Houston. You will fabricate, install, inspect, test, and maintain stainless steel hydraulic tubing systems from 1/4" to 2", interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs, and ensure safety and quality standards across offshore and onshore projects.

The role requires reading schematics, operating tube fabrication equipment, and performing pressure testing, with travel to customer facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of hydraulic tubing installation or related industrial experience.
• Experience with 316 stainless steel tubing from 1/4 in to 2 in.

Responsibilities

• Install, bend, route, and secure stainless steel tubing from 1/4" through 2" OD.
• Fabricate tubing assemblies using manual and hydraulic tube benders.
• Measure, cut, deburr, clean, and prepare tubing for installation.
• Cone and thread MP and HP stainless steel tubing using manufacturer-approved tooling.
