Job summary

EnerMech in Houston is seeking a Hydraulic Technician, Tube Instrument Fitter to fabricate, install, inspect, test and maintain stainless steel hydraulic and instrumentation tubing systems ranging from 1/4" to 2" in diameter. You will interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs to ensure precise tubing runs.

This role requires travel to customer facilities and offshore/onshore job sites, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of hydraulic tubing installation experience.
• Experience installing 316 stainless steel tubing 1/4"–2".
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Parker A-LOK, Swagelok, Hy-Lok or equivalent fittings.

Responsibilities

• Install, bend, route, and secure stainless steel tubing 1/4"–2" OD.
• Fabricate tubing assemblies with manual or hydraulic benders.
• Conform to drawings, perform coning/threading of MP/HP tubing.
• Pressure test and verify hydraulic systems for leaks.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform preventative maintenance.
