HEICO is seeking a Test Technician in California to evaluate incoming assemblies, determine repairs, and perform final testing of lap assemblies. The role requires measuring flows, leakage, and force, and adjusting clearance through precision grinding and use of micrometers/calipers.
The candidate should have 1–3 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with familiarity with O-rings, seals, and quality practices. This position is onsite in a manufacturing environment.
The Test technician will be responsible for testing and evaluating incoming assemblies (Spool and Sleeve Assemblies), determining the extent of necessary repairs and ability to repair and complete final testing of lap assemblies. The technician will need to be familiar with flow grinding parts, using grinding tools for modifying laps and final testing.
High School Diploma or GED and Post High School Education. 1-3 years of relevant experience.
