Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling seeks a Hydraulic Technician in Ohio to disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble hydraulic systems. The role requires meticulous measurement, adherence to safety standards, and accurate recordkeeping.

You will work with hydraulic rod cylinders, operate test equipment, and support other shop tasks. Qualifications include 2–3 years of hydraulic repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a physical environment with lifting and tooling

Qualifications

• 2–3 years repairing and maintaining hydraulic components.
• Good mechanical aptitude for hydraulic maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble hydraulic systems and components.
• Perform tear downs, measure dimensions, and determine repairs.
• Assemble cylinders and test for proper function.
• Maintain records of time, repairs, and parts usage.
• Operate the Microfinishing machine and assist in other shop areas.
• Follow safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
