Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain compactors and related equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose hydraulic and electrical components, follow diagrams, and ensure safety checks and regulatory compliance.

This role requires a valid Class B CDL, a DOT Medical Card, and the ability to travel as needed. The position demands welding (MIG/stick), basic electrical knowledge, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• One (1) year welding and cutting experience required.
• Basic electrical knowledge required.
• Knowledge of MIG and stick welding.

Responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, repair, and maintain compactors, augers, balers, and related containers at customer locations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and electrical components using schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Run electrical conduit and wire in accordance with applicable electrical code.
• Complete required safety checks and inspections on containers, compactors, and related equipment.
• Operate company trucks and equipment safely in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and complete service documentation and reporting.
