Job summary

Aerial Rise is seeking a reliable Hydraulic Mechanic / Bucket Truck & Crane Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems on bucket trucks, cranes, and related heavy equipment. This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset.

You will diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, read service manuals, and keep accurate maintenance records while working independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience working on hydraulic systems, bucket trucks, cranes, aerial equipment, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, kneel and work in shop or field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems on bucket trucks, cranes, and other fleet or heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using sound diagnostic practices.
• Repair or replace hydraulic pumps, hoses, cylinders, valves, fittings, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation as needed.
• Test equipment after repairs to confirm proper operation and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, inspections, and maintenance performed.
• Work independently and as part of a team while following company safety procedures.
