Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Mechanic to identify, disassemble, inspect, rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves at customer sites in the United States.

You will determine parts and labor, perform failure analyses and may perform assembly, fabrication and testing of hydraulic components, using specialized tools such as a Cylinder Bore Hone, Rod Polisher and hydraulic torque wrench.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years shop experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge and use of hand tools and measuring devices (caliper).
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver license with good driving record (CDL preferred if possible).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Identify, disassemble, inspect, rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
• Specify parts and labor needed to complete repairs and provide failure analysis.
• Assemble/fabricate, plumbing and test hydraulic components; troubleshoot, remove, install and repair on customer equipment.
• Use tools such as a Cylinder Bore Hone, Rod Polisher, hydraulic torque wrench, and other tools.
