Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking an experienced Application Engineer (Fluid Power) to design and support custom hydraulic systems and solutions. The role involves defining system requirements with customers, designing hydraulic circuits, and assisting with on-site startup. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, extensive experience in hydraulic system design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Creo. The position requires 15–25% domestic travel for customer visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–7+ years of experience in hydraulic system design or application engineering.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic components and system architecture.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and sales engineers to define system requirements.
• Design hydraulic circuits, manifold systems, and power units.
• Develop integrated hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Create hydraulic schematics and general arrangement drawings.
• Assist with on-site startup and troubleshooting.
