Job summary
England-Thims & Miller, Inc. is seeking a Utility Modeling Engineer to support planning, analysis, and design of complex water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems in Orlando.
The role emphasizes hydraulic modeling experience and data-driven decision making for large infrastructure projects. You will develop master utility plans, calibrate models, and collaborate with land development teams to integrate utility planning into site development strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related field.
- 5+ years of utility engineering and hydraulic modeling.
- PE license preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with WaterGEMS and WaterCAD.
- Experience with master planning and phased development.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and calibrate hydraulic models for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems.
- Create and manage master utility models for large-scale, multi-phase development projects.
- Model wastewater collection systems and force main networks; evaluate lift station performance.
- Provide hydraulic modeling support for utility design projects and collaborate with engineers.
- Maintain utility data and coordinate GIS, survey, and utility records for model development.
