Description

Bridgestone HosePower is the premier distributor of hydraulic and industrial hose products for over 35 years. We are seeking candidates to join our Charlotte, NC Mobile Service Division, which provides on-site support for hydraulic hose assemblies. Our clients include industries such as oil and gas, aggregate, waste, landscape, and heavy construction, servicing equipment from backhoes to 400-ton mining haul trucks.

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

1. Build hydraulic hose assemblies on-site at customer locations.
2. Remove and install hose assemblies as needed.
3. Perform machine inspections.
4. Engage in cold call prospecting and territory development.
5. Manage and grow an existing territory year-over-year.
6. Provide quotations for large projects.
7. Report data accurately and timely for invoicing.
8. Maintain and protect company-owned equipment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Sound, independent judgment.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• A passion for excellence and strong soft skills.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean record, including no DUI.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Flexibility and ability to think quickly, maneuver in confined spaces.
