Job summary

Price Engineering, a SunSource company, seeks a hose assembly technician to support hydraulic hose and kit fabrication. You will follow procedures to ensure 100% quality and on-time production and delivery, coordinating with the Production Supervisor and Fluid Conveyance team.

Responsibilities include using hose assembly equipment, identifying hose types, performing forklift tasks, and assisting with inventory and paperwork. Equal opportunity employer; E-Verify may be used.

Qualifications

• High School Degree, GED or Equivalent.
• Willingness to continue educational learning/training.
• Experience working with power tools and hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Logical problem-solving ability.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to organize and complete work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic hoses, hose kits, and fluid conveyance assemblies using established procedures.
• Notify Production Supervisor of material shortages or issues.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts.
• Identify fittings and hose types/sizes by sight.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Prepare Job Packets and print labels.
• Assist in prioritizing and delegating workflow.
• Print Job Tickets (Plan for Every Part).
• Participate in training and cross-training.
• Monitor equipment maintenance, supplies, and REQ inventory.
