Job summary

Pirtek Chicago & South Philadelphia is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to perform hydraulic hose replacements and related tasks at customer sites. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and building strong customer relationships through on-site service and clear communication.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year in mechanical repair, a valid driver's license, and their own hand tools. Company vehicle and benefits are available as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year0experience in a trade involving mechanical repair or assembly.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Ability to park commercial van near your home.
• Own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Replace hydraulic hose, tube and adaptors on equipment at the customers0 site.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and communicate needs.
• Determine the cause of leaks and explain what we do to help potential customers.
• Visit customers shop to determine their needs and provide solutions.
