Job summary

Pirtek Chicago & South Philadelphia is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to service hydraulic hose systems at customer sites. You will replace hoses, tubes, and adaptors, and work to maintain strong customer relationships by identifying needs and explaining our services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Heavy Equipment mechanical experience desired.
• At least one year experience in a trade involving mechanical repair or assembly.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to park commercial van near your home.
• Own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Replace hydraulic hoses, tubes and adaptors on equipment at the customers' site.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Determine cause of leaks and propose solutions.
• Visit customers' shop to determine needs and explain services to potential customers.

Job Description

Pirtek Hydraulic Hose Field Technicians replace hydraulic hoses, tube and adaptors on equipment at the Customers' site. Our technicians build and maintain customer relationships which includes determining the cause of leaks, replacing hoses, visiting the customers' shop to determine their needs, and explaining what we do to potential customers.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Heavy Equipment mechanical experience desired
• At least one year experience in a trade involving mechanical repair or assembly
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
