Job summary

KLH Engineers, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to lead designs of water distribution, storm, sanitary, and combined sewer systems. You will apply hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to create innovative, data-driven solutions and coordinate with internal teams and clients.

The role requires 3+ years in hydraulic modeling, a BS in a related field, and proficiency with InfoWater/EPANET/InfoSWMM/PCSWMM. A collaborative, client-facing engineer will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling experience.
• Proficiency with InfoWater, EPANET, InfoSWMM, PCSWMM and/or EPA SWMM to manage sewer systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects designing and optimizing water distribution and sewer systems.
• Apply hydraulic/hydrologic modeling to develop sustainable solutions.
• Analyze system data using simulations to improve performance and efficiency.
• Interpret modeling results to predict real-world behavior of systems.
• Use modeling tools to run scenarios and communicate results to clients.
