Job summary

Everus in Burleson, TX is seeking a technician to assemble, wire, and plumb new and used equipment according to engineering drawings. You will install components, test systems, and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.

The role involves diagnostics, maintenance, and on-site assembly tasks in a construction-related setting. Minimum qualifications include a GED or high school diploma and 3–6 months of related experience, with construction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in construction preferred

Responsibilities

• Install freshly painted components onto equipment per drawings
• Wire trailer electrical systems including lights and brakes
• Plumb pneumatic brake systems on larger units
• Install hydraulic components and plumb hydraulic circuits per drawings
• Install electronic components and wire electronic circuits per drawings
• Set pressures on hydraulic circuits and verify electronic system parameters
• Perform system operation checks and take corrective action if needed
• Operate equipment to test functionality and spool rope/cable onto reels
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and electronic issues and recommend fixes
• Wash units after final inspection
• Assist in maintenance of rental fleet as needed
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance per schedules
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized
• Notify supervisor about parts and inventory usage
• Complete applicable maintenance records
• Perform additional duties as assigned
