Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience analyzing hydraulic cylinder failures and recommending repairs.
• Experience with repairing hydraulic components and close tolerances.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics is helpful.
• Must be a self-starter and able to communicate with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Measures disassembled components, primarily hydraulic cylinders.
• Compares disassembled components against original specifications.
• Recommends proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures.
• Completes work in the pump shop.
• Occasionally functions as a machinist including line boring or welding.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
