Job summary

Bosch Rexroth, dba HydraForce, Inc. seeks an Applications Engineer to partner with customers and internal teams to develop hydraulic solutions.

This role involves evaluating customer needs, selecting products, designing hydraulic systems, and providing engineering support through the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will combine hydraulic expertise with strong customer relationships, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline and 3+ years engineering experience in hydraulics/industrial equipment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and perform technical analysis.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with technical troubleshooting and solution development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements and operating conditions; define and propose hydraulic solutions.
  • Design and develop hydraulic integrated circuits and system solutions per customer specs.
  • Create hydraulic schematics, layouts, and supporting documentation; provide field support and testing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales.
