Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of professional experience analyzing statistical data.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience collecting, coding, and analyzing labor market data.
• Ability to assign occupational and industry codes using SOC/NAICS.
• Ability to review, verify, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Comfort with contacting employers via phone, mail, email, and fax.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SOII data collection, coding, and analysis to identify incidents and industries.
• Refine addresses for sample units prior to survey solicitation and ensure deadlines.
• Collect and tabulate QCEW data, including establishments, employment, and wages.
• Review employer data for completeness; resolve discrepancies via follow-up.
• Analyze predecessor/successor relationships for business transfers.
• Assign SOC and NAICS codes to records; support report preparation.
