Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Experience using Lexis, Westlaw or similar research platforms.
• Knowledge of insurance defense litigation and legal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of Workers' Compensation litigation from evaluation to resolution.
• Partner with claims professionals to develop case strategy and discovery.
• Negotiate settlements and appear at hearings.
• Mentor colleagues and provide technical guidance for complex matters.
