Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Five years of claims management experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• California jurisdictional knowledge required; SIP certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex or high-exposure workers' compensation claims to determine benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Report claims to excess carriers and coordinate directions with guidance.
