Job summary

Essex Property Trust is seeking a Program Manager for Workday HR Technology to lead enterprise HR system initiatives across California and Washington, partnering with HR, IT, Finance, Operations, and executive stakeholders to transform how we leverage technology to support our people.

You will own end-to-end Workday projects, manage releases, drive UAT, coordinate integrations, and promote continuous improvement with a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required.
• 5+ years of project/program management experience, with 3+ years HRIS projects.
• Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-state organizations with decentralized workforces.
• Strong understanding of Workday's structure, security model, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday implementation and enhancements across multiple modules.
• Serve as liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Operations and vendors.
• Coordinate HR system support for acquisitions, transfers, and org changes.
• Manage integrations between Workday and third-party tools; develop plans and status reports.
• Lead UAT cycles, maintain vendor relationships, and drive process improvements.
