Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant professional experience in software/web application development.
• Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of web applications.
• Drive architecture and design decisions for scalable frontend and backend solutions.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, reusable components, and engineering best practices.
• Conduct and govern code reviews, technical design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and security vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where they provide clear business or engineering value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Partner with Product Managers, UX, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Platform teams to translate requirements into solutions.
