Cboe Global Markets seeks a web software engineer to design, implement, and maintain web applications that power our markets. You will work with Python, Django, React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS to deliver scalable services in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or demonstrable equivalent knowledge.
• 0-2 years of experience developing websites or web applications; internships welcomed.
• Exposure to MVC web frameworks (Django preferred).
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Python.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, Linux.
• Experience with Apache, PostgreSQL, or ReactJS is a plus.
• Experience with Python unit testing and full-stack testing is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, extend, and maintain web application functionality.
• Implement automated unit tests and test changes prior to deployment.
• Contribute to remediation efforts for incidents arising from changes.
• Participate in sprint planning and team meetings.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Gather requirements and contribute to documentation and specs.
• Demonstrate business and system knowledge and improve understanding of markets and technology.
