Job summary

CDK Global is seeking a senior software engineer to develop and maintain .NET-based web APIs, lead a scrum team, and design scalable enterprise applications for an automotive SaaS platform. You will work across the stack with Angular/React for the frontend, and SQL/Oracle on the backend in a Linux environment.

The role requires 8–12+ years in .NET development, strong C#, and API design. This position offers hybrid work with time in the Portland, OR office and remote days, plus competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 7+ years of experience OR 15+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 8-12 years of experience with Microsoft .NET as Developer.
• Experience developing web APIs.
• At least 7 years’ experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience in design and implementation of transaction-oriented software in a Linux/C environment is a plus.
• Must be an expert in the C# programming language.
• Expert level capabilities in Php a plus.
• Unix/Linux systems programming including I/O, networking, file systems and shell scripting.
• In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure.
• Expert level experience with SQL/Oracle databases.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable web application.
• Must have excellent software development hygiene ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Capable of providing organized technical leadership to scrum-team (5-7 developers) sized groups while also doing technical work on the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web APIs using .NET stack.
• Lead a scrum team of 5-7 developers while contributing technically.
• Design scalable, transaction-oriented software for Linux environments.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security of web applications.
• Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular/React.
