Job summary

Summer Interns at M&T Bank Corporation are welcomed in a hybrid role based in Wilmington, DE. The 10-week internship focuses on professional development, building skills, and exposure to trusts administration and relationship management within the Wilmington Trust team.

You will participate in projects, attend guest speaker sessions, and network with peers while receiving consideration for full-time opportunities throughout the Bank.

Responsibilities

• Complete duties and responsibilities of an entry-level professional nature specific to assigned area of the Bank.
• Ensure activities adhere to established internal policies and external regulations as applicable.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
