Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. is hiring a Water Resources Engineer in Hartford, CT. This full-time, hybrid position supports design analysis, site inspections, and technical documentation under senior engineers. Recent graduates or early-career engineers with an EIT–or pursuing it–will gain practical experience.

You will develop expertise in civil/environmental principles and contribute to meaningful water-related projects while balancing in-office collaboration with remote work options.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or environmental engineering or closely related field.
• Active pursuit of EIT or equivalent credential preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to write clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques to perform related tasks.
• Conduct analyses and prepare summaries for review by senior staff.
• Participate in field activities, site visits, and construction inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data logs from job sites.
• Analyze lab data and summarize findings in detailed reports.
• Perform calculations and develop input for plans and specifications.
• Present technical information clearly in meetings.
