Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Basic proficiency with CAD software or introductory-level experience.
• Strong reasoning and analytical ability.
• Ability to write clear, professional reports and correspondence.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, especially in technical settings.
• EIT certification or active pursuit of the credential.
• Hands-on experience with Civil 3D (AutoCAD) or similar design software.
• Familiarity with water resources analysis and modeling.
• Experience in field-based engineering work or site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques and practices to perform sequences of related technical tasks.
• Conduct routine analyses and testing, preparing summaries and reports for review by senior staff.
• Participate in field activities, including site visits and construction inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data logs from job sites and client locations.
• Analyze laboratory data and compose detailed reports that summarize findings.
• Perform calculations, develop input for plans and specifications, and compile historical records.
• Present technical information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Refer complex or non-routine technical issues to more experienced staff for guidance and resolution.
• Participate in studies, analyses, and data collection under senior supervision to build broader experience.
