Job summary

GFT is seeking water engineers in Texas to join our water resources teams. The roles involve hybrid work requiring regular in-person attendance at Texas office locations, contributing to dams, levees, water treatment, and stormwater projects with a focus on sustainable infrastructure.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead pursuits, oversee technical work and staff, and support multiple projects while coordinating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-20 years of related experience.
• EIT required.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience in design of water treatment, distribution, pump stations, and stormwater assets.
• Hydraulic modeling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers and project managers on multiple projects.
• Lead pursuits as Senior Manager in the Water Group.
• Develop and manage cost estimates and project schedules.
• Prepare construction packages (plans, specs, OPCC) for water systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project/contracts managers.
• Develop small to large design projects from planning through construction.
• Draft task order proposals and support client relationships.
