Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Vue.js Developer to build and enhance modern web and mobile applications in Louisville, KY. You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions using Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining front-end components, integrating RESTful APIs, and ensuring performance across devices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Vue.js.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Experience with state management (Redux/Vuex/Context API).
• Experience with Node.js and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of responsive front-end development.
• Experience in Agile environments and good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform web/mobile components using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs and third‑party services with Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to system improvements.
• Troubleshoot performance issues across browsers and devices.
• Work with backend engineers to define and consume APIs.
• Participate in Agile sprints and team ceremonies.
