Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation Services – Pittsburgh District Office seeks a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to support Allegheny County clients toward meaningful employment. You will outreach partners, assess needs, develop rehab plans and coordinate services with referrals.

You will also provide counseling, track progress, and document case activities in electronic systems, contributing to brighter futures for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifikationen

• Intern/trainee or CRCC certification path recognized by Commonwealth.
• Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, social work or related field.
• CRCC certification or eligibility to sit for exam within qualification window.

Aufgaben

• Perform referral outreach to identify and refer participants to the office.
• Conduct face-to-face assessments to determine eligibility and needs.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans and monitor progress.
• Coordinate evaluations, authorizations and service delivery.
• Provide counseling and promote soft skills; assist with job referrals and follow-up.
• Enter and maintain detailed case notes and correspondence in electronic systems.
