Qualifications

• Professional videography and video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating high-quality filming and editing.
• Advanced understanding of camera settings, lenses, exposure, lighting, framing, composition, and audio.
• Experience creating short-form, social-first video content.
• Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, hooks, and editing techniques for digital platforms.
• Ability to confidently direct individuals with little or no on-camera experience.
• Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and production quality.
• Ability to work independently and execute creative concepts with minimal direction.
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of production.
• Openness to feedback and ability to implement revisions efficiently.
• Reliable transportation and availability to travel throughout the Greater Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Capture professional video content at client locations across Greater Houston.
• Direct clients and on-camera talent to achieve natural, engaging footage.
• Make creative decisions on lighting, framing, camera movement, and audio.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos for social platforms and websites.
• Deliver content on time and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Collaborate with account managers and designers to align with content plans.
