Job summary

Crutchfield is seeking a Videographer/Editor to direct, film, and edit a wide range of videos from product reviews to branding stories. The role covers concept development, lighting, camera operation, audio, and final delivery, with both independent and team collaboration on projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and a knack for translating tech into customer-friendly visuals, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 onsite days per week in Charlottesville, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film/video production.
• Experience lighting, filming, and directing high-quality videos.
• Strong editing skills with common NLE software (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, Avid, Final Cut).
• Strong organizational and collaborative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review scripts and coordinate production with talent and the video team.
• Design shots and scenes to communicate product benefits.
• Light scenes with standard grip and lighting gear.
• Direct talent, record audio, and operate cameras during shoots.
• Organize and manage media through production and post-production.
• Edit videos to high brand standards, including color grading and motion graphics as needed.
• Support larger productions including national and local commercials and branding stories.
• Stay current with filming, lighting, and editing techniques.
• Develop technical proficiency with consumer electronics products.
